I recently read a study that explored whether e-books or print books are the future. In this digital age I assumed that e-books with their convenience and accessibility would be the preferred option, so I was surprised to learn that print books show no signs of slowing down even with the growth of e-books.
The findings stated that e-books are being used more and more but mainly for research and academic reading. E-books are excellent for pin pointing information that may be hidden in a large text. They make finding information and downloading it much easier then researching using print books. It is still noted that e-books are harder on the eyes than print and when it comes to sitting down to read something cover to cover, print is the chosen preference.
